Ground-breaking label Sonar Kollektiv are celebrating their 21st birthday with a massive compilation from their back catalogue. ‘Sonar Kollektiv 21 Years’ covers releases from the last two decades, showcasing the labels wonderfully broad approach to A&R, as well a bunch of unreleased treats. German DJ/Producer collective Jazzanova launched the label in 1997, in the atmosphere of creative freedom following the fall of the Berlin Wall. The catalogue covers a wide range of genres - electronica, house, techno, funk, dream-pop, chill-wave and of course jazz. At the heart of it all, the label is about quality and a passion for new music.
Our friend DJ Prestige of Flea Market Funk is a working class DJ and someone who champions the lifestyle, spinning 45s for dance floors every week ( and using one of our bags while he's at it ). Check out the short documentary "THE HUSTLE IS REAL" from Thomas Draudt
On today's episode of Excellent Reception, we are looking at a song that, for whatever reason, inspired a seemingly endless stream of reinterpretations. It was a number one hit in the 1960's, but it still has a way of getting the dancing floor moving after all of these years. This song is "Tighten Up" by Archie Bell and The Drells.

The shipping was pretty slow, but when I contacted the company by email they responded within minutes. Probably the best customer service I’ve received online.
My bag has plenty of space and even more pockets than I originally thought there were. Extremely satisfied and will recommend to others. My bag came with several stickers and even a handwritten note from the owner. Thank you.
The industrial engraved metal or brass name plate is the icing on top of the cake! Bulletproof, customizable, and really what sets your bag apart from others.
It’s not by chance that these are the platinum standard of the 45 bag market. Great attention to every single detail. A bag invented and produced by a working dj, co-signed by one of the most respected dj/selectors. I would dare compare these to the original technics 1200’s which were manufactured in Japan!! Quality quality quality!! Customer service is also second to none!!! I’m sure the warranty is great but I have had no issues with either of my other bags of 10+ years! Love the new magnetic snaps on the handles and the etched name plates are a really nice touch! These bags will be passed down for generations because they are built to last!!! Thank you, Case, Tucker & Bloom, and Rich!!! 🙌🏽 💎 🙌🏽 🙏🏽
My original T&B 45s bag (2016) is still going strong ~ best record bag I ever bought ~ period. When I saw a few bags were being made available + with new features ~ it was a no brainer to grab a 2nd bag for me, and one for my brother.
As ever the T&B guys were amazing on the customer service side, and helped with an expedited delivery. Thanks again Case and crew - can’t recommend T&B highly enough. Oscar, London 🇬🇧
